National Parks are created to preserve and protect natural and cultural resources for future generations. That often means that Parks have cultural archives of photographs, items of daily life, documents, oral histories and cemetery data. Some of these items maybe in a Park visitor center or museum but most are kept in climate controlled rooms, unseen by all but the curator.

This website brings resources out of the archives of three National Parks, Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area, Obed Wild and Scenic River and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
