Hands on the Land

Hands on the Land now offers our Hot Topics Curriculum for secondary grades. Participating educators, researchers, and students have gotten dirty, wet, and had a lot of fun to provide you a variety of hands-on lesson plans for the field and classroom. Some activities were tested by teachers and students during the Elwha Summer Field Course, a high school natural resources class through the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center. The following lesson plans may be adapted for middle and high school students.
