There are many different types of UV experiments that you can do without having to use fancy equipment. Simple household items such as yeast or T-shirts can be used to see how Ultra Violet Radiation can affect your daily living.

Prior to the construction of this page, I decided that I should attempt to do an experiment of my own so I could share my results. I chose to do an experiment that would show how UV radiation affects everyday objects. Unfortunately, after only three weeks it was missing.

So, instead of pictures and results, all I have to share with you is this: if you are planning on conducting a UV experiement, make sure that you keep it in a safe area and be prepared for any acts of vandalism.

I have included the information for my attempted experiment on the "lessons" page of our site, along with other experiments that you can do at home or in the classroom.
