| Description:
The Junco can be 5
6.5 inches in length with a 9.25 10 inches wingspan. They
are predominately gray above with a white abdomen and a pink bill. Males
are larger and have brighter plumage than females. They may vary their plumage
depending their zone. There are five different subspecies. |

| Range & migration: They are short-distance migrants. They breed from Alaska through Canada, south to Mexico and east to Georgia, winters south to Gulf coast and Northern Mexico . | Reproduction:

lay 3 6 eggs that are incubated by the female for 12 13 days.
The young leave the nest at 9 13 days. The young are fed by both sexes. |
