During this thrilling hike we took part on in the Elwha Valley I did transects, foot of earth, and helped out in leadership. In the transects I was one of the people yelling out how many new shrubs, trees, and nurselogs we found. In the foot of earth I surveyed three different areas, the first was of a water area, the second was on a nurse log, and the third was on bark. I learned about moss, lichens, insects, and plants. With the leadership I had a specific morning when I had to wake up at 6:30 A.M. to wake everybody up. I also had help make the meals some days. My experience on the hike was a great new feeling, I had never been on such a long and strenuous hike.

Later when I got to the technology portion of the project I helped out in the whole layout and the blending together of the peices of this web page. I also made some graphics and my own personal page hope you like it.
