Foamflower: long stem with toothed edged leaves of three.

Ginger: heart shaped green leaves that are spread out along the stem.

Indian Pipe: albino white stem that feeds off of mychorrhizae; looks like a Venus flytrap.

Leaves of four; top of leaves are toothed and there are more leaves towards the base.(name uknown, no picture)

Long narrow green leaves that are shiny on top, soft and not toothed.(name uknown, no picture)

Review:

The area is close to mychorrhizae of trees and rich with nurse logs. The canopy is broken and there is little light shining on the area of earth. It is right next to the trail, but very much intact and not trampled over. No sign of animal life feeding off of the plants.
