Privacy Statement

Your privacy is of great concern to Hands on the Land. The information we collect on this site is only used for its stated purpose. We do not sell or share any of the information we collect with any third parties.

Information we collect and what we do with it:

  1. We collect information from potential new members who choose to fill out our Membership Application. The personal information collected within this database is not publicly displayed.
  2. When new members obtain a password, they have the option to post their information in our public Contact Directory.
  3. Members have the ability to post information of other potential members into our Contact Directory. If they do so, members are required to obtain permission from these persons in order to post their personal contact information within our Contact Directory database.
  4. Periodically, we send a newsletter to members who are listed in our Contact Directory. At any time, you may e-mail us to be removed from that mailing list.
  5. We also collect personal information within our Environmental Monitoring databases. This information is not publicly displayed.
  6. Our Quiz and Questionnaire tools do not store user information unless it is provided by the user. We also do not store information about the users who participate in Hands on the Land's usability or needs assessment surveys.
