Acknowledgements

The Dinosaur Depot Museum would like to acknowledge the vision and support of those at the Dinosaur Depot Museum, Royal Gorge Regional Museum and History Center, and Bureau of Land Management Royal Gorge Field Office. Specifically, Jon Stone was instrumental in offering assistance during the initial research stages and providing a home base for the development of the site. Also Dan Grenard and Leah Quesenberry at the BLM need mention, for without them this train would not have left the station…or even be a train at all. They added the momentum to this project that makes it go the distance.

Additionally, a very special thanks to Felch's great-granddaughters, Ila Clayton and Joan Crozier Zimmerman who were immensely valuable in piecing together the Felch family tree with photographs of Felch and his daughter, their grandmother, Sarah. Without these images we would not have a face to associate with this story.

Further acknowledgements go to Ken Carpenter at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science for creating the map used on the site. We would also like to thank all those involved in creating the interactive maps and lesson plans that give the site its more "hands on" quality. They are Dave Zelenka, Jennifer Kapus, Steven Wagner, and Sherrie York.

Finally, the Dinosaur Depot offers a most sincere Thank You to some of its workers, here, at the Dinosaur Depot Museum, particularly Georgine Booms, June Hines, Lois Oxford, Laura Foreman, and Pat Monaco. Their hours spent compiling documentation, translating letters, literally piecing together Felch's life and findings, and being generous and warm with their time bring this website to life.
