Diamond Fork
Youth Forest
in
Uinta National Forest
Tucked within the folds and rugged mountain peaks of the
Uinta National Forest, the Diamond Fork River and its tributaries
feed a permanent flow of water into the semiarid landscape
of central Utah and its communities. Researchers and students
study the forces that carve out river basin's unique ecology,
while they help to protect plants, animals and the humans
that depend on Diamond Fork's continued minimally-altered
presence.
