Have you gone over the hiking route with the other members of your group?

Have you talked about the terrain?

Does everyone know what they need for the hike?

Has the group discussed what to do in an emergency?

Does everyone know good expedition behavior?

Did everyone's gear get checked to make sure they have everything they need?
