Scenario Proper Treatment
While hiking off the trail with Roy, Blanca felt her self getting really cold. What should Roy do? Getting really cold is a possible symptom of hypothermia, meaning a low body temperature. By removing the patient from the cold environment would be one of the procedures of treating this patient. If you can't remove the person removing all wet clothing and covering the patient with a blanket or foil would be the best idea or procedure.
After hiking many days in the snow and freezing temperatures Roy notices that his feet are frostbitten. What should you do to help him? Frost bites are really really delicate you would probably think about removing wet clothing and cover the injured part loosely with a dry, or sterile dressing. NEVER! rub the the frost bitten part, this may cause it to fall off. Still don't let the patient stand or walk on a frostbitten foot.
While hiking along the trail Brenda notices that she is getting tired rather easy and feels really hot. What do you think you could do to help her?

Noticing that the person is having problems and is getting tired and hot could be or are some symptoms of overheating. If the patient hasn't fainted he/she might complain about being dizzy. If such thing persists move the patient to a cool environment as quickly as possible.
