On the second day of hiking, David felt a hot spot. What could you do to help him?

A hot spot is usually created by your sock rubbing on your foot. By wearing a slick liner sock you can direct the rubbing to between the sock rather than against the skin. If hot spot brakes open the proper procedure is to apply antibiotic cream. If its just the blister just apply mole skin before it creates.

While sitting at the fire Blanca accidently burned her hAND the skin is blistering. What could you do to help her? Just removing the patient from the burn source DOES NOT! complete the process. Such injuries need to be "cooled down". If the burn persists use water or saline to try and stop the burn. Also you should cool down the burn for about 60 to 120 seconds.
